Christians Set Sail on Titanic Anniversary to Honor Titanic’s ‘Women and Children First’ Legacy
From Doug Phillips of Vision Forum: BRANSON, MO — April 16, 2012 During a showboat gala hosted aboard the Branson Belle late last Saturday, just under 600 Christians observed the precise moments Titanic struck an iceberg and sank 100 years ago. The evening cruise on Branson’s Table Rock Lake was the capstone of Titanic 100: An International Centennial Event, a four-day commemoration hosted April 12-15 that honored the “women and children first” legacy of Titanic, as men and boys willingly gave their lives for women and children when the great ocean liner foundered and sank on April 14-15, 1912. It...
Cameron’s ‘Titanic’ Dishonors Sacrifice of Brave Men, Says Titanic Centennial Organizer
From Doug Phillips of Vision Forum: BRANSON, MO — April 9, 2012 — As James Cameron’s film Titanic headlines movie theaters worldwide in its new 3D incarnation, the organizer of Titanic 100: An International Centennial Event — to held on April 12-15 in Branson, Missouri — aims to disprove Cameron’s class warfare portrayal of the ship’s demise, showcasing the legacy of heroism on Titanic, as men and boys on board the ship gave their lives so women and children might live. “James Cameron’s box-office smash Titanic portrays a false image of Marxist class-warfare as Titanic foundered, with the rich seeking...

Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro sponsors an annual World War II boot camp for the fifth grade class. One aspect of the class is to host a Salute to Veterans dinner. Kelly Mullins, MTCS teacher, devised the boot camp six years ago. In January fifth-graders begin studying World War I and World War II. “Recruits” study the fundamental principles of America’s founding, human decency and the importance of veterans. Students dress in camouflage fatigues, attend boot camp drills and...

PIK Review “Monumental” March 28, 2012 Perfectly Imperfect Kids Reviews Hi, it’s me Nicolas, and I’m here to give you my review of Kirk Cameron’s movie Monumental. Monumental is a movie that teaches the truth behind the Pilgrims and their quest for freedom of religion, and our forefathers’ beliefs, and what made our country so strong in the first place. Now why would they call it Monumental, you might ask? Well let me ask you this, have you ever heard of the Statue of Liberty? How about the Grand Canyon? Maybe the Golden Gate Bridge? Those are some of the...
Yes, the Camerons homeschool their children
I have been wondering if Kirk and Chelsea Cameron homeschool their six children.  Finally I got an answer today from Kirk’s publicity agent, who said: Yes -they do but he called it “life schooling” during an interview where he mentioned that home schooling not only creates a close bond with your children but parents are able to teach them so much more about life and the world we live…. I’ll be posting interviews soon! Remember, Kirk’s new amazing and important movie “Monumental” will be in theatres for a limited time. And if it’s not showing nearby, then your audience also...
