Homeschool News Network — Encouraging and Promoting Homeschoolers
Homeschool News Network is a multimedia news outlet of, by, and for homeschoolers. It is a central place on the Web to to share news, connect with homeschoolers, and find out what’s new in the homeschool world… in a family-friendly online environment.
I’m Savannah Rogers, creator and editor of www.HomeschoolNewsNetwork.com. My hubby Matt and I live in Arizona, training and loving our five cute children.
I love to see God at work in people’s lives, and I love to encourage others by sharing those stories. The two things I hope to hear one day are, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21), and “She loved much” (Luke 7:47). I have such a long way to go!
It is my prayer that you enjoy the stories and resources you find on this site, and are inspired in your own homeschooling journey.
This is a family-friendly site where homeschoolers everywhere can share their news, announcements and projects with other homeschoolers. We welcome your submissions of articles, news tips, videos, press releases, audio files, and almost any other media. Homeschoolers are such cool and creative people!
If you haven’t already, be sure to register for our email newsletter – homeschooling events and announcements will be sent conveniently to your email inbox, as well as news of interest from homeschoolers worldwide.
In the fall of 2009, the vision of Homeschool News Network was born. It has been an answer to prayer – a fun way to use the skills, experience and passions God has given me:
- My professional life in the news and publishing business,
- My love of people and matching their needs and dreams with resources I’m familiar with,
- The cheerleader in me that loves promoting people’s “stories”,
- A love of entrepreneurs and helping projects get started,
- A hopelessly Pollyanna-ish, encouraging attitude,
- A chance to learn internet and business concepts right alongside my homeschool children, giving them the option to start their adult life on strong financial footing,
- And a desire to encourage other families on their homeschooling journey.
Through Homeschool News Network, I look forward to helping homeschooling families find helpful and encouraging news and resources – of, by and for homeschoolers. Thank you for reading! I hope that you will be inspired.
Savannah Rogers
