September is right around the corner and school’s about to start. All of the brand new curriculum is lined up on the shelf (with the old, baby-chewed and toddler-spilled-on stand-bys right alongside) just waiting to be opened up.
Is there breathless anticipation just waiting to open up those old and new books?
Hooray, this school year is going to be a breeze! (And your life may be a breeze, too, with such angels in the house.)
Well…Kelly Negvesky has some help for you in her upcoming webinar series. Kelly is a curriculum expert and a veteran homeschooler with a passion. A passion she has in common with every homeschooling mom that I meet. A passion to inspire a love of learning in her children.
In the first webinar, How to Use the Curriculum You Already Have to Inspire a Love of Learning, Kelly will share how to instill a love of learning in your children this school year – without adding to that stack of brand new curriculum you already bought.
She’ll also explain dual credit and curriculum blocking (I’ve never heard of this before…and as a homeschool grad I thought I was pretty fluent in homeschool-ese.), and explain how you can tackle these topics without having to purchase new curriculum.
In the second webinar, How Combining High School and College Will Pave the Way for Success in College and Life Beyond, Kelly will break down how to purposefully plan high school for your child – whether they are still in junior high or a junior in high school. She’ll discuss the “how to’s” of dual credit–from high school transcripts to the methods of acquiring credit and will help you become an expert in dual credit, giving you the tools and information you need to make the right dual credit decision for your child.
Best of all, through both webinars, one thing will stay the same; Kelly knows that at the end of the day, the faith, life purpose and love of learning that is instilled in each and every student is what truly counts.
Go here for more information on this free informational webinar series and to register to attend. The webinars will be held on August 22nd and 29th @ 8pm CST. If you are unable to attend live, be sure to sign up anyway so we can send you the recording afterwards.
I hope you will be able to join Kelly, and that this will be a school year filled with learning and an even greater love of learning!
Blessings in Christ,
