This week I was invited back to Family Voice Talk Radio with BJ Stober, family therapist, to talk about helping children overcome difficult behaviors and strengthening relationships at the same time.
Breaking bad habits is no easy task. Habits are like snow flakes. They fall ever so softly, but then before you know it you have something powerful, and often destructive, like an avalanche. However, even though habits can seem powerful, they are are possible to break. Breaking habits with children is something I have done many times. Whether the habit is lying, stealing, aggression, pornography, or whining (to name a few) the child behavior can be broken when applied to the formula I share on this video interview which happened May 31, 2012.
This formula works for solving a 4 year old behavior or an 18 year old behavior, or any age in between.
