GLOUCESTER, VA — Debbie Scheidegger had been a second-grade teacher at Botetourt Elementary School, but when it came time for her first son to start Kindergarten, her husband, Alan Scheidegger, had a suggestion: homeschool.
“I had never heard of home schooling,” Debbie Scheidegger said.
Twelve years later she’s about to have her first graduate.
