I have scheduled one small group for Introductory Spanish lessons to begin the first week of October and just wanted to let you know that I am open to teaching one or two more groups. I have found that it’s best if interested parents round up the small group, then I deliver instruction and fun to the group that has been established.

As in the past, the fee is $10 per student per one hour session.  The classes can be scheduled during the typical school day or afterwards.  I am open to teaching the classes at my home near 1-17 north of Happy Valley Rd or your preferred location.  I am also open to an extended 90-minute session at $15 per student per session.

So, if you’d like to have your child(ren) involved in lively lessons with a high degree of active participation so they can start using Spanish from the first lesson, think about coordinating a group and it will be my pleasure and privilege to deliver instruction.

This is an excellent opportunity for your child(ren) to gain proficiency in another modern language which will simultaneously improve  his / her current English skills.  Students will learn to listen, speak, read, and write in Spanish from the very first lesson.  Hands-on activities as well as meaningful interaction, varied materials, active particpation, and lively presentation will be employed to bring language to life, optimize learning, and create a fun yet highly educational experience!  Language can be learned through direct instruction and acquired through experience and use.  Strategies addressing both of these aspects will be utilized. This will be a jam-packed hour of learning!  Instruction will be ongoing throughout the school year and beyond if there is interest.
