OPPORTUNITY!
LIVING HISTORY FOR GENTLEMEN & FAMILIES
LIVING HISTORY TRAINING
The 150th Anniversary of the Civil War has arrived and you could be part of it!
We Make History Family Friendly Reenacting continues to expand dramatically as more and more families become involved. This summer over 100 of us participated in the Manassas Sesquicentennial in Virginia, the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
We portray both soldiers and civilians of the North and South and will be portraying special roles in numerous 150th anniversary events both here and nationwide. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Gentlemen ages 13 and up are welcome to be put through special training as historic soldiers – a real learning experience for which we have uniforms and accoutrements to loan to “recruits”. Together we do local service through education, organize high quality, family oriented, reenactment events – such as the American Heritage Festival!
Ladies and children are also very welcome and are involved with a variety of creative and educational historic roles.
Maybe you’ve never tried reenacting due to the reality that quite a bit of it out there isn’t at all family friendly. We’ve noticed too and have created a better way.
With We Make History reenacting and events, ladies and gentlemen of all ages can be assured of a wholesome, family oriented experience with high moral standards and an emphasis on good character.
Get involved and help us in our mission of serving families through living history.
Let us know at if you would like to join the team and we will help you get started.
