Thanks, Homeschool Freebie of the Day, for another great resource!  Homeschoolers everywhere were very excited to get their hot hands on the entire set of Narnia audio books for free — and nearly crashed the resource site!  We already own the CD set thanks to a gift from dear friends, but Jim Erskine explained how to access these free Chronicles of Narnia audio stories FREE via iTunes podcasts, yippee!

… We just wanted to update you on yesterday’s huge freebie resource, “THE complete CHRONICLES OF NARNIA series in Audiobook format”

 

AS you might expect, the response on this was just tremendous.

The Ancient Faith Radio site (which hosts these audios) was just hammered by all the traffic we sent them, so you may have had difficulties accessing or downloading these files.

 

I just want to urge you to have patience with their site and try again today or tomorrow or in the days to come when their traffic load is lighter.

 

We aren’t associated with the Ancient Faith site, but we understand that this is a permanent page and these audios will be available for the forseable future. We’ll be keeping our own link up for the next week or so, but you can always just click through to the download site and bookmark it so you can download any of these audios at your convenience.

 

TIP: If you have ITunes, you can subscribe to these readings as a podcast on the right side of their screen. It will open itunes and you can then go to “podcasts”, open the podcast and click “get all” — and ITunes will do all the dirty work for you downloading them without your having to click, click, click all afternoon.
