Is this little homeschooling singer sweet or what? The youngest top-10 finalist on America’s Got Talent, homeschooler Kaitlyn Maher is now a spokesperson for Compassion International, voice talent for two Disney films, and has released her debut album.

Kaitlyn says in this Washington Post article that she prefers singing over making movies and her other hobbies, because “it glorifies God and it makes people happy.”  Her parents, Reuben and Alison, said they believe Kaitlyn can make a difference, and even bless people, with her voice.  They talk about their careful usage of social media in the article.  They also say they don’t push Kaitlyn; it’s actually the other way around.
